Well Country Inn
A comfortable small hotel serving good reasonably priced food. Lovely roaring fire in the bar. Dog friendly.

Very 'well' Done.
This is a lovely, cared for traditional inn in a picturesque village.
We had a beautiful lunch on arrival having been welcomed warmly and efficiently by Lorraine.
Our room was well appointed and freshly decorated.
As we met other staff (bar and Chef) our favourable impression of this being a welcome home from home grew.
Breakfast was a real treat with my fry-up free from puddles of fat and with fresh mushrooms rather than the usual tinned version (both quite common even in Starred establishments).
I was aware of other (tripadvisor) reviews being a mixed bag; perhaps the negative reviewers got there on a bad day? More likely they are the type for whom the wind is always in their face!
Thankyou for a very relaxing and welcoming stay.

The Well Country Inn
The Inn is in a delightful setting in Scotlandwell, one of the small villages on the road just above Loch Leven. The fresh well appointed rooms are comfortable and adequate parking is available. The staff are friendly and the hearty breakfast included fresh locally sourced produce. A well stocked gantry is complemented by a selection of real ales on tap in the welcoming cosy bar.

Our Stay For Titp
Fantastic B&B, cannot fault anything.

Staff really made us feel welcome and went that extra mile.

Food was lovely, especially the full Scottish breakfast!
Would return again without any hesitation!

Excellent place where staff willing to voluntarily go the extra mile - literally! We were stuck for a taxi to go to family wedding ( already late and in inclement weather) and member of staff volunteered to take us to the wedding in her own car. Above and beyond and immensely appreciated. Similar story about flexibility around check-out time, with the offer of brunch at 1200 after recuperative sleep. Food and service were excellent. Would recommend WCI every time and excellent value for money. Room in outside cottages was clean and very comfortable. A great wee place and thanks all round.

Burns Dinner
Well, I enjoyed the hotel very much. The bar was very hospitable and well-priced. Later in the evening I did have a little trouble with the front door since the barrier door was closed and I didn't know about the side door until morning. Oh well! Breakfast was good so all's well. Maybe some soaps in the shower would be nice. Otherwise, excellent place to stay and very cost-effective.
